Top 25 roundup: Wisconsin upends No. 19 Michigan

D'Mitrik Trice had 28 points and four assists and the Wisconsin Badgers never trailed while defeating No. 19 Michigan, 81-74, in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Thursday.

Micah Potter had 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Badgers (18-10, 11-6 Big Ten), who extended their winning streak to five games.

Akeem Ford also supplied 18 points with eight rebounds for Wisconsin, which shot 53.7 percent from the field.

Zavier Simpson scored a career-high 32 points and added six assists for the Wolverines (18-10, 9-8), who saw their five-game winning streak snapped. Freshman Franz Wagner contributed 17 points and seven rebounds.

No. 3 Gonzaga 94, San Diego 59

Filip Petrusev recorded 21 points and nine rebounds as the Bulldogs rebounded from a rare loss to rout the Toreros at Spokane, Wash.

Corey Kispert scored 16 points and Ryan Woolridge contributed 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Bulldogs (28-2, 14-1 West Coast Conference) clinched the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in next month's conference tourney. Gonzaga also bounced back from a 91-78 setback to BYU last Saturday that ended a 19-game winning streak.

Joey Calcaterra scored 19 points for San Diego (9-21, 2-13), which dropped its fourth straight game and eighth in the past nine. Killian Tillie and Admon Gilder added 12 points apiece for Gonzaga, which beat the Toreros for the 12th straight time and 23rd in the past 24 meetings.

No. 14 Oregon 69, Oregon State 54

Payton Pritchard scored 23 points and Will Richardson added all 15 of his points in the second half, leading the Ducks to a win over the visiting Beavers in Eugene, Ore.

The Ducks (22-7, 11-5 Pac-12) made 11 of 23 3-pointers and won their fourth game in the past five, moving into a first-place tie with UCLA in the Pac-12.

Ethan Thompson's 15 points led the Beavers (15-13, 5-11). Tres Tinkle added 14 points and 10 rebounds, but Oregon State lost its fourth straight.

California 76, No. 21 Colorado 62

Sophomore Matt Bradley tied a career high with 26 points to propel the Golden Bears past the Buffaloes in their Pac-12 Conference matchup in Berkeley, Calif.

Kareem South added 19 off the bench for the Golden Bears (12-16, 6-9), who beat a ranked team for the first time in five tries this season and won for just the second time in their last seven games. Paris Austin helped the Cal cause with 12 points.

McKinley Wright IV had 18 points to pace the Buffaloes (21-8, 10-6), who began the night just a half-game out of first place in the Pac-12. Tyler Bey had 13 points and Lucas Siewert 11 for Colorado, which had beaten Cal 71-65 at home earlier this month.

No. 23 Ohio State 75, Nebraska 54

Kaleb Wesson had 16 points and a career-high 18 rebounds as the Buckeyes extended the Cornhuskers' losing streak to 13 games with a blowout win in Lincoln, Neb.

CJ Walker scored 15 points, and Duane Washington Jr. had 14 for the Buckeyes (19-9, 9-8 Big Ten), who have won seven of nine. Wesson was just 3 of 10 from the floor but made 10 of 13 free throws.

Dachon Burke Jr. had 13 points, and Cam Mack had 12 for Nebraska (7-21, 2-15). Mack returned after missing the 71-59 loss at Illinois on Monday because of illness.
